What is the Strategic Workshop for Small Teams?
Build efficiency, effectiveness, and collegiality
in your small team
The Strategic Workshop for Small Teams is designed to create greater efficiency, effectiveness, cooperation, and collegiality among team members and individuals who are in regular or close contact through their work or service.
During this highly customized workshop, participants gain a clearer understanding of themselves and one another, including how each team member naturally and most effectively communicates, makes decisions, and integrates information. This increased understanding builds collegiality, strengthens the way the team works together, and helps create a more effective and efficient team.
Because Sat-Sung does substantial analysis and preparation in advance, the team receives this highly useful information in a single focused session of approximately only 60 to 90 minutes.
The central purpose of this strategic workshop is to strengthen team effectiveness and cohesion in both the short and long term.

Customized Information
A strategic workshop designed specifically
for the members of YOUR TEAM
– not for anyone else
The Strategic Workshop for Small Teams is built around the actual people in your team, and is the anti-thesis to generic team building or theoretical communication training.
During the focused workshop your team learns about its actual dynamics, using each person’s unique Human Design to understand how they naturally communicate, make decisions, and integrate information.
When team members understand their own style and everyone else’s, they stop making assumptions and start collaborating more effectively. Most teams see immediate improvements in efficiency and dynamics, with lasting benefits that extend beyond the workplace.

Frequently Asked Questions
Strategic Workshop for Small Teams
MY TEAM
Q: For what types of small teams is the Strategic Workshop for Small Teams designed?
A: Strategic Workshop for Small Teams is designed for small teams of 6 to 12 people across a wide range of professions and settings, including legal, high-tech and cross-functional teams, as well as teams of soldiers and security personnel.
These settings may be very different from one another, but at their core, each team is made up of a group of people who communicate, make decisions and integrate information in their own individual ways. This is what this strategic workshop examines: the actual people within your team.
Q: Does our team need to have problems?
A: No. A team does not need to be having difficulties for the workshop to be useful. It is relevant for both teams that are already working well together but would like to improve their effectiveness, coherence and collegiality even further, and also for teams that are experiencing challenges or difficulties.
Q: Can this strategic workshop focus on particular areas for improvement?
A: Absolutely. If there are particular areas where your small team is not performing as well as you would like, this is exactly the type of information I want to know when I prepare the workshop.
This is part of what makes the workshop highly customized. It is built around your specific team members, and I can also focus my preparation on the areas that are most important for your team to improve.
For example, the team may want to improve participation in meetings, decision-making, distribution of responsibility, communication, or another aspect of how it works together. I then pay particular attention to the information about the team members that is most relevant to those areas.

Q: Can the Strategic Workshop for Small Teams be part of a team-building day?
A: Yes. The Strategic Workshop for Small Teams is a fabulous team-building activity. The program is interesting and compelling, only 60 to 90 minutes long, and its focus on team coherence and understanding makes it particularly well-suited to team-building days.
Q: Why is this approach better than generic team building?
A: Generic programs frequently fail because they’re one-size-fits-all. They teach “the top 3 communication styles” or “the best decision-making approaches” – but people don’t work that way. Communication styles, listening approaches, participation patterns, and decision-making processes vary dramatically from person to person, and generic programs cannot address your team’s actual dynamics.
Generic programs can also be long, boring, and disconnected from your daily work. This program is brief, intensely personalized to each team member, and directly relevant to situations your team encounters day-to-day. We work directly with your team’s actual dynamics using each person’s unique Human Design to understand how they naturally communicate and make decisions. Because it’s about understanding yourself and the people you work with every day, it’s genuinely interesting – not generic information you’ve heard before.

HUMAN DESIGN
Q: How is Human Design used in the Strategic Workshop for Small Teams?
A: Human Design is used as the underlying framework for identifying how each team member naturally communicates, makes decisions and integrates information.
Q: Do team members need to know anything about Human Design prior to the strategic workshop?
A: Absolutely not. Everything is explained in ordinary language, so participants do not need any previous knowledge of Human Design.
LOGISTICS
Q: What does the Team Leader need to provide before the main session?
A: The Team Leader is Sat-Sung’s primary team contact throughout the process.
At least two weeks before the workshop date, the Team Leader provides Sat-Sung with a list of each participating team member’s name, date of birth, exact birth time, and location of birth, including city and country, and state or province where applicable. Because Sat-Sung does substantial analysis and preparation in advance, if she does not receive this information by that date, the workshop date may need to be postponed.
The Team Leader is also invited to provide information about the team’s role within the larger organization, areas where the team is effective, and areas for improvement. The more details the better, for this allows Sat-Sung to tailor the workshop even more strategically to your team.

Q: What if I have questions prior to or after the strategic workshop?
A: Your success is one of Sat-Sung’s highest priorities, so always feel free to be in contact with questions or feedback. The best ways are through WhatsApp or this contact form.
